Chartering a Superyacht

The charter process is designed to be simple and stress free, to make your entire yachting experience the best it can possibly be. Superyacht Sales and Charter is a superyacht seller in Fort Lauderdale, Florida that recommends that potential buyers charter the yacht first, in order to get an idea for how yachting trips will be on the vessel. In order to understand everything that chartering a superyacht entails, our team has drafted a guide for chartering a superyacht.

The Charter Process

Location, Number of Guests, Budget:

Your destination location, the number of guests that will be aboard, and your budget will be used to give you matches to specific boats that will ensure an amazing charter experience.

Selecting Your Yacht:

Now that your basic information is filled out, it is time to select your charter. A list of luxury yachts in your destination area will be displayed. Take your time during this step. There will be a vast array of charters, all available with first-class amenities. Only you know what kind of experience your looking for once you’re aboard the superyacht, so choose wisely.

Contact a Yacht Broker:

Once the desired superyacht is selected, it is time to contact a yacht broker. When you go through the purchasing and chartering process with Superyacht Sales and Charter in Fort Lauderdale, the entire process is covered. Our sales team is experienced in superyacht sales and are brokers as well. Whatever yacht you choose, sail or motor, our brokers can handle the financing process for chartering.

 Itinerary, Travel, and Catering:

Once your charter is booked, the fun begins. Either you can set your itinerary, travel hot spots, and catering, or Superyacht Sales and Charter can find a yacht management team to do it for you for a true superyacht owning experience while you charter a yacht before buying.

APA and Final Payment:

Additional Information that must not be forgotten is the APA charge and final payment. APA is Advance Provisioning Allowance. This is a total cost that covers fuel, food, and any other special equipment that is required to be onboard during your time on the charter. The final payment is required to be paid about a month prior to your charter embark date.

Select a yacht to charter, decide if you would like to buy from which features you liked and disliked during your charter, then our yacht broker can help work out the finances and paperwork. Contact Superyacht Sales and Charter today to get started!
